The new rumour about Samsung Galaxy S4 claimed that the device will be announced on March 22 and will be on sale in April.

The Galaxy S4 has been given a new codename "Altius," which replaced the previous codename "Project J."

According to a Korean publication, Samsung hold a separate Unpacked Event post Mobile World Congress 2013 event where the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 will make its debut.

SamMobile reported that the phone will start shipping in April in two colours, black and white. While this is all still just a rumor and should be taken with a big grain of salt, SamMobile is certainly one of the more trustworthy sources when it comes to information about Samsung devices.

However, Samsung Vice President JK Shin confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S4 will not be released at the MWC event. Shin suggested that the Galaxy S4 will be coming "soon" but did not give out details as when and where the device will make its debut.

With the hint from a Samsung's executive, new speculations arise claiming that the Galaxy S4 may be released in the latter weeks of the first quarter of 2013 or early in the second quarter.

Some of the rumoured specifications for the Galaxy S4 include a 5-inch FHD Super AMOLED 1980 x 1080 Flexible Display, 4G LTE connectivity, a 13-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 2GB of RAM and Samsung's latest eight core processor, the Exynos 5 Octa that the company introduced at CES.

Some rumours claimed that the device will come with Androidv4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. However, other rumours say that the device will run with Androidv5.0, Key Lime Pie.

Latest rumour claimed that the smartphone will be equipped with wireless charging feature like that of Nokia Lumia 920. According to a report from Korean publication DDaily, the Galaxy S4 will feature wireless charging using the familiar Qi standard such as the Nokia Lumia 920 on AT&T.

Samsung released no official comment yet on the rumours surrounding Samsung Galaxy S4.
