Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Note 3 Release Date Unwavered by Tension in Korean Peninsula
It seems that it is business as usual for South Korea tech company Samsung despite the ongoing tension between North Korea and South Korea and its allied nations.
It is full steam ahead for imminent release of Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3. The company is unwavered by the possible effects of the tension in the Korean peninsula.
Reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be unveiled this week. The handset is a perfect low cost alternative for those who do not want to splash out on its latest flagship Galaxy S4.
The new rumour contradicts earlier reports that Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will go on sale around May, which is also confirmed by an executive from Samsung.
Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics Lee Keon Hyok talked to BusinessWeek and said that, "the Galaxy S 4 doesn't come out until late April. It's fast, has a big, bright screen, and will probably be another huge hit for Samsung, as will the S4 mini that will go on sale soon after".
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to make its debut in the third quarter of this year. Rumours point to possible September release date. There are speculations that Samsung will hold the announcement of the Note 3 on the annual IFA event in Berlin. The said launch will allow Samsung to maximize its profits and to complete the tried-and-tested September product cycle of the Galaxy Note series.
Latest reports claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will hold its separate Unpacked Event before the IFA Event in Berlin. Samsung-centric website SamMobile cited a source confirming the release of the Samsung's phablet as well as other Galaxy products. Last week, three Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 handsets have been spotted in DNLA certificates. According to the leaked information Samsung is getting ready for the mass production of two 10-inch new tablets, but also a 7-inch tablet.
However, there is no update yet from Samsung on whether it is affected by the forthcoming war.
