The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini may be available as soon as May 30 sharing some of the features of its brother - Samsung Galaxy S4.

Recently, alleged leaked photos of the device showed that it will include some of the features of Samsung Galaxy S4.

"Today we were able to test the Galaxy S4 Mini and made some pictures to get an idea of the phone. Our initial impressions are definitely good. Galaxy S4 Mini is not inferior in any way to his older brother. The device is extremely fast, with a great camera and a beautiful display," writes Smartnews, translated from the Bulgarian.

The photos emerged via Bulgarian tech site SmartNews and a front-on shot shows the Android and TouchWiz interface. We can clearly see a shortcut to Samsung's Group Play feature, so just like the Galaxy S4 the Galaxy S4 Mini will be able to stream music tracks across handsets wirelessly.

It also appears the Galaxy S4 Mini will support some of the Galaxy S4's eye-tracking features as the Galaxy S4's eye icon appears next to the signal indicator in the notifications bar. Other features that might be included are:

Smart Stay: The front camera tracks your eyes and keeps the display illuminated when you're looking at the screen. If you glance away it will dim the display after a short duration.

Smart Rotation: The phone detects the angle you're viewing it from and adjusts auto-rotation accordingly.

Smart Scroll: Allows you to scroll and pan around web pages and other content by tilting the phone up and down.

Smart Pause: Automatically pauses video when you look away from the screen. Resumes playback when you return your view to the screen.

Air Gesture and Air View are also speculated to be included in the miniature smartphone. Air Gesture uses the front camera and allows you to swipe through some phone content, such as a photo gallery, simply by waving across the display with your hand.

Air View lets you preview certain content by hovering your finger above it on the display - email for example let you preview the message without opening it.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is claimed to have multiple versions with a 4.3 inch display and up to quad-core processor depending on model: a dual-SIM version, which will likely not launch in the UK, would feature a dual-core processor, while a single-sim version supporting either 3G HSPA+ or 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) connectivity would include a quad-core chip.

All versions, however, would include the same 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display with a pixel density of 256 pixels per inch (PPI). According to the SamMobile's anonymous source, the handset will be available in two colours at launch: Black Mist and White Frost.
