New reports claimed that the miniature version of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released sometime around July or several months after the arrival of the Galaxy S4.

Rumour has it that the device would be out in either May or June of this year, just a few weeks after the arrival of the larger Galaxy S4. However, a new claim from SamMobile states that the Galaxy S4 Mini has been "delayed" by Samsung and that it likely won't be coming until a date between July 15th and July 21st.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in many parts of the world in a few days after its significant launch last March. It seems that Samsung wants the consumers' attention solely on the Galaxy S4 as the S4 Mini may steal the limelight from the company's flagship device.

Last week, the South Korea tech company Samsung hinted the imminent release of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini as the device appeared on its website.

Early this month, Samsung confirmed the release of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini after the unpacked event for the company's Galaxy S4. Now, the device's presumed model number has appeared on Samsung's website in the form of a user string agent, revealing several of its already rumoured specifications.

The latest Galaxy S4 Mini leak comes in the form of a user string agent that was first discovered by Dutch site, TechTastic. The user string agent is for a Samsung device called the GT I-9190, the presumed model number of the Galaxy S4 Mini. The user string agent is not an indication of an imminent launch, but it does mean that Samsung is preparing the device for arrival.

Earlier reports claimed that the device would be launching in multiple versions with a 4.3 inch display and up to quad-core processor depending on model: a dual-SIM version, which will likely not launch in the UK, would feature a dual-core processor, while a single-sim version supporting either 3G HSPA+ or 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) connectivity would include a quad-core chip. All versions, however, would include the same 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display with a pixel density of 256 pixels per inch (PPI).

While Samsung is disclosing its plans to launch a Galaxy S4 Mini, SamMobile claims to have word that it will be announcing the device later this week - with a view to releasing the device towards the end of May or the start of June. According to the site's anonymous source, the handset will be available in two colours at launch: Black Mist and White Frost.

No specific dates have been mentioned yet and Samsung itself has not confirmed anything.
