As if the added innovative technology wasn't enough, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is also bringing with it many new accessories that can enhance your S4 use, as well as give it more useful functions for everyday life.

Wireless charging pad

For those who are always on the go, the Galaxy S4 is offering an optional back battery cover and wireless charging pad accessories, to support Q9 wireless charging.

According to TechCrunch, this came from the partnership between Samsung and Qi. And given how Qi is making products for other digital brands, the accessories seem to run for any phone that is Qi-compatible.

Game pad

When Samsung decked the Galaxy S4 with a clamp-on controller, complete with the Y, X, B, and A buttons, dual analog sticks, D-pad, shoulder buttons, and NFC connectivity, it seems that the gaming industry shifted in another direction.

It seems that gaming is really in the works for Samsung, as it now has a 16-game partnership with EA come the April 26 launch. According to Forbes, these games include The Sims, Plants vs. Zombies, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Bejeweled Blitz, and Monopoly.

"We're delighted to be partners with Samsung to bring some of our fans' favorite mobile gaming titles to the Samsung Galaxy S4 in time for launch," said EA vice president of new platforms Glenn Roland to Forbes.

"The device's higher resolution, larger screen, and increased processing power will give our games an opportunity to look even more beautiful for Samsung consumers."

S Band

Galaxy S4 is also tapping into a potential life companion angle, as it also releases a fitness-tracking device, the S band, in the hopes of competing with the likes of Nike Fuelband.

According to The New Age, the S Band has a pedometer for counting burned calories, recording steps and distance, and measuring sleep efficiency. It also serves as a humidity sensor, which will record all the mentioned data and store it until you can sync it with your S4.

Those who are into more rigorous adventures will also love the fact that the S Band is waterproof up to 10 meters.

Flip covers

Reports on the flip covers for the S4 vary from having nine colors down to just four. In a report in Gotta Be Mobile, the covers are offered in nine colors, as well as a set that is tailored for the S3.

In another report, Phone Arena states that the flip cover is available in four colors--light blue, white, black, and blue--for $36. But considering how the Galaxy Note II offers a far more varied selection of colors, it won't come as a surprise if users will be given more hue choices for the S4 flip cover. Or you can also apt for a camel-colored pouch that's around $60.

Heart-rate monitor and body scale

The S Band isn't the only thing that's related to a healthy lifestyle with the Galaxy S4. Incorporating its S Health app, Galaxy S4 is also coming out with a body scale and a heart rate monitor.

Computer World reports that the body scale measures your weight, feeds the data to the S4 via Bluetooth, and syncs it with the S Health app. You can also keep track of your family and friends' health, as the health app can support up to seven different users.

The heart rate monitor is also an add-on to the S Health app, measuring your statistics and sending it your S4 device.
