A market analyst claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S4 may be released in February.

According to Doug Freedman of RBC Capital Markets, Samsung 2013 roadmap may include releasing the successor of the famous Samsung Galaxy S4 earlier than expected because of Apple's change of plans. Apple's rumored release of iPhone 6 in early 2013 may be one of the reasons of the early launch of its main competitor.

In his note, Freedman also predicted that the Galaxy S4 could be released in February or March and publicly revealed at the 2013 Mobile Congress, which takes place in Barcelona, Spain.

Freedman is the fourth source to speculate such a release date for the Galaxy S4, and his note came soon after the Korea Times reiterated that MWC 2013 will be the most likely venue for the Galaxy S4 announcement.

Other sources that are expecting the Galaxy S4 to launch in February or March 2013. Moving on to the rumored specifications of the Galaxy S4, most of the talk about specs is now centered on a flexible, unbreakable display, although there are those like Freedman who both believe that such display technology may debut instead on the 2014 Galaxy S handset.

According to other reports, Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released in mid-2013 in line with the release of the rumored Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS.

Some Samsung Galaxy S3 users are already complaining on the slow rolling out Android Jelly Bean updates since launch. Chances are Samsung will not be looking for a repeat debacle and will almost certainly launch the S4 with Key Lime Pie right out of the box.

Samsung did not anticipated the release of LG Nexus 4, which quickly gained popularity and high demand as it is packed with the latest version of Jelly Bean OS.

It was previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will sport a 5-inch full HD display with full 1080p and a whopping 440 pixels per inch. The device will be powered by two quad core chips.

The Galaxy S4 might also sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, which will intimate other smartphones with 8MP back shooters.

The handset should come with a minimum of 2GB RAM, although there are reports that Samsung is testing an unidentified smartphone with 3GB RAM.

Samsung also began mass producing 128GB memory chips for smartphones and tablets earlier this year, and we could see storage capacities that high as early as next year. With this, the Samsung will continue its reign in producing devices with large storage capacity.

Samsung kept mum on the rumors surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. There is no official comment from the South Korea's tech giant.
