Rumour has it that the Samsung Galaxy S4 may have two different kinds of processor upon its release date.

In the U.S., the upcoming Samsung flagship could launch with a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, while the Eurpoean and International versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be shipped with the recently revealed eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor clocking speeds of 1.8GHz.

Other specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S4 would remain the same across all versions of the handsets.

The eight-core processor of Samsung was announced in January at the Consumers Electronics Show. Samsung stated that the latest chipset will power the upcoming devices of the company.

In 2012, the Samsung Galaxy S3 was released in the U.S. with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset because the LTE modem was not ready for the device's Exynos processor by the time it reached the markets. The problem was resolved with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The latest rumour regarding the Galaxy S4 storage and colour options claims that Samsung might be looking to offer six different Galaxy S4 variants which seem to mirror Apple's iPhone 5. The handset is speculated to come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants and will be available in black and white.

Samsung sent a cryptic message hinting the release of the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 on March 14. The invite drops clues that the Galaxy S4 is indeed the smartphone that will be unveiled on the unpacked event.

The latest news on the rumour mill of the Galaxy S4 is that the handset will include high end features such as 5G WiFi, 5-inch Full HD screen display, 13MP camera and a quad-core processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is also rumoured to feature an Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU, Mali-T678 (8-Core) GPU, 4.99″ SuperAMOLED Full HD Resolution Display, 2GB of RAM, 13 Megapixel Rear facing Camera capable of shooting 1080p Full HD Videos at 30FPS, 2 Megapixel front facing camera capable of shooting 720p HD Videos and run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

However, Samsung did not disclose further details on the planned event next month.
