The success of Samsung Galaxy S3 prompted the South Korea-based company in releasing its next generation by next year.

The smartphone dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumoured to be released on the first quarter of 2013 just in time for the Mobile World Congress in February.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will receive a boost on its specs and features compared to its predecessor. Below are some of the rumored specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Screen Display: 5-inch 1080p display wtih a whopping 440 ppi.

Processor: 2GHz quad-core Cortex A15 processor with 2GB of RAM.

Camera: 13MP rear shooter.

It is important to note that the upcoming device will mostly likely include some of the old features of Samsung Galaxy S3 such as Near Field Communication via S-Beam and 4G/LTE capability.

The new rumours come from the Samsung Display arm of the business, which in turn means that the technology could be undergoing development for use in other technologies, rather than smartphones.

However, the unstoppable success of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3 confirms the smartphone market's likeness of big, bright and bold touchscreens.

Tech giant Samsung is prepping up for the release of another device that will cater to the other sectors of the population. This time, the company is rumored to release Samsung Galaxy Premier as its photo and some specs and features leaked on the Internet.

Samsung also released a slew of devices this year such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and Alpha, which are cheaper versions of the popular Samsung Galaxy S3. The company also introduced a phablet - Galaxy Note 2. It is expected that Samsung will be a big player this holiday season reaping profits from all of the devices it released.
