White Nexus 4 8GB Smart Phone Version Listed as Sold Out at Google Play Store

The availability of the White Nexus 4 8GB version apparently has come to an end after Google Play Store listed the smart phone as sold out. Consumers can still acquire the black Nexus 4 8GB model as well as the white 16GB version that are available.

New supply for the white 8GB version is no longer expected since Google has announced that the smart phone edition would only be available for a limited time. The now sold-out smart phone was able to contend with other rival smart phones despite the lack of 4G LTE support with a $299 price and free matching bumper case.

Google Play Store currently offers the black Nexus 4 smart phone with 8GB or 16GB internal storage capacity choices and the white 16GB Nexus 4 model. The 16GB smart phone retails on Google Play Store for a more costly price of $349.

The Nexus 4 16GB smart phone will still appear in the white color option where every purchase comes with a free bumper casing but it was not confirmed how many more units Google has or for how long it will be available. For the black Nexus 4 color option, the device appears to have a sufficient supply amount.

The Google-LG Nexus 4 smart phone has a 4.7-inch WXGA screen display with 1280x768p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM and runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Other features included on the device are the 8MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, NFC and wireless charging capability.

Low price and the technology incorporated in the Nexus 4 have helped the smart phone become a sought-after Google device but with the issues on limited availability or supply. Other devices currently available on the Google Play Store that consumers can purchase are the Google Edition smart phones Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.
