The war of the smartphones is heating up with several of the manufacturers coming out with their latest models in the coming months. There are always some “leaks” and rumours about the phones users are interested in and passionate about. The rumour mill also gives the manufacturers an insight into the minds of the customers. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is no different. With just a few months to go before its release users can take stock of what to expect from the smartphone giant.

Being the leader in smartphones customers have huge expectations from the new Galaxy S5. Will these features be jaw dropping enough for customers to postpone their purchase of the available smartphones? It is left to the readers to decide.

Expected feature # 1 - 16 Core Processor. By far the best feature of the Galaxy S4 is the processor. As many of the other competitors race to provide better unique experiences to its users the basic functionality of any feature depends on the processor. Samsung seems to have understood this well and making all out efforts to lead in this area.

Expected feature # 2 - 16 MP Camera. Although it is gar for any smartphone to compare with the 41 MP camera of the Nokia Lumia 1020, still Galaxy S5 intends to be a phone first and a camera later. A 16 MP camera can still be very attractive given the competition.

Expected feature # 3 - 32 Multi Touch screen. A big heads up to all the Game lovers, a 32 multi touch screen will take user experience especially in gaming to a whole new level.

Expected feature # 4 - 2 GB RAM. This is going to be the norm of all samrtphones from here on in. The phones that manage only a 1 GB RAM will be left behind in the race. But users can expect that phones releasing by the end of 2013 or early 2014 will come with a 2 GB RAM

Expected feature # 5 - Carbon fibre body. Now this should be interesting, while some manufacturers are going plastic foe their smartphones to offer greater customization and personalization at a lesser price, the Galaxy S5 may come in an elegant carbon fibre body. The customers will be able to see the difference in the look and feel of the smartphone straightaway because the carbon fibre body will give the phone a light weight and stylish look.

Users can be sure that the Samsung Galaxy S5 is certainly going to be a giant leap from the Galaxy S4.
