Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha Leaks Online: Release Date, Five Features to Wait for New Smart Phone

It looks like South Korean tech giant Samsung is set for a fiercer competition with the Cupertino-based tech company Apple. Details of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha, which is also called Samsung Galaxy F, recently leaked online which will most likely compete with Apple iPhone 6.

The Epoch Times stated that Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha is reportedly going in production in July and will be released to the market in August.

Here are five fresh features on what to anticipate from Samsung's new smart phone.

Large Display

Various Web sites vary slightly on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha's display size with some quoting a 4.7-inch, 4.8-inch, and 5.2-inch. But they all mentioned that the upcoming smart phones screen will be made up of Super AMOLED. Either way, the display size is still large enough which will allow smart phone users to clearly see the information displayed on the screen.

Powerful Processor and OS

According to an article from Tech Radar, Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha will be powered by either Octa-core Exynos 5433 processor or a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and Adreno 420 GPU clocked at 2.5 GHz. It will reportedly run on Google Android KitKat 4.4.4 operating system. This powerful processor is an upgraded version of the predecessor model Samsung Galaxy S5 which has quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor and Adreno 330 Krait 400 clocked at 2.5 GHz running on Android OS, v4.4.2 KitKat.

Great Camera

The Epoch Times also cited that Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha will sport a 16-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. Given this great camera specs, smart phone users who are fond of taking selfies and pictures can pose for as many snapshots as they wish and expect a crisp and clear picture in the end.

Fingerprint Scanner

GSM Arena mentioned that Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha will retain the fingerprint scanner at the front portion which was also present in the Samsung Galaxy S5 model. With this feature, smart phone users will have peace of mind that the data stored in their premium smart phone will only be accessed by authorised people.

Heart-Rate Monitor

The same source mentioned above also stated that Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha will have heart rate monitor at the back portion. This feature will be of great help to smart phone users who are health conscious as they can have real-time information of their heart rate when they are doing strenuous activities like jogging or exercising and when they are just at rest.
