Even before Samsung's most anticipated device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, has had its reveal, many fans are taking it to their own drawing boards to get started on their wish lists of what they would like to see for the next Samsung Galaxy S iteration, the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Here are some of the concept videos, most of which showcase impossible features, while others take into consideration the trend that Samsung has had for its handsets.

A roundup of specs

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is predicted to come out on May 2014, and as such, be an improvement on the current Galaxy S4. In this video, some of the possible improvements have been enlisted, such as having a wider screen display, being a lighter phone due to a thinner body and make, yet having a more expanded body.

It may be taking after how the iPhone device is aiming to "defy the rules of physics" by packing a lot of power into a more compact device, without having to sacrifice features like the screen.

The concept video also shows off the Samsung Galaxy S5 in four colour variants, black, blue, red, and grey. But what's even more interesting is the inclusion of two other features--bendable screens and a 3D display.

Samsung has long been rumoured to be working on flexible displays and have even created prototypes. There is still time to develop this technology and feature it in the next Galaxy S iteration, in the same way that the Galaxy S4 was able to introduce new features that were not yet seen in other phones before it.

Packed with features

Created by Bob Freking, this video gives the Samsung Galaxy S5 a lot of new features, some of which may be too hopeful at best, while others would be really great to have in reality.

It starts off with giving the phone a 16-megapixel S-camera, which would be the highest to date and complete with optical image stabilisation, and support for add-on lens. It has 10x more light intake to ensure best low light performance, and 6x loseless zoom to satisfy camera addicts.

As for the body, you have a 5-inch 1080p super AMOLED Plus screen with improved pixel arrangement for better display, a waterproof all-aluminum back cover with no trace of plastic, and an improvement on the width and weight, now only 77mm thin and weighing 120 grams.

Inside, you have the 2GHz 8-core Exynos 6 CPU with 64 GPU cores running the show, 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory backing, 4G LTE capability proofed for possible 5G, onscreen buttons, a 4000 mAh battery, the Android 4.2 Jellybean (though this could have been a much better OS since the 4.3 update is starting to be rolled out), and wireless charging.

The concept also features a new Touchwiz, which will be gesture-based, clean, and use up less memory while doing so with useful features.

The idea is pretty bold and daring, and asks for more than what might be realistic of Samsung, but you never know just what kind of tricks it has up its sleeve.
