iPhone 6, iPhone 5S Concepts Videos Feature Endless Wraparound Display, iSight Pro, and iOS 8
September is drawing ever closer, which has gotten fans excited by the possibility of revealing both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S.
In this concept video by Fabio Basile and Claudio Guglieri for the concepts and the creation of the video by Ran Avni, you can see a redesigned iPhone 5S and iPhone 6.
The iPhone 5S features a 4.2-inch wraparound display screen, the A7 chip, the iOS 7, a new design, and a new home button, on top of all the possible software additions.
As for the iPhone 6, the concept features a new home button, improved cameras, the Apple 7X Chip, capacitive volume indicators, the iOS 7 with new features (probably compared to what will come out in the iPhone 5S), and a 5.1-inch wraparound display screen. The choice of colors is also limited to the standard black or white variants.
For both of the smartphones, the major feature seems to be the wraparound display, but the concept allows this feature to be turned on or off, depending on its convenience for the user.
iSight Pro, thinner body
There have been concepts of the iPhone 6 that have focused on improving the overall body for a sleeker feel to the phone.
Not to say that the previous iteration, the iPhone 5, is anything bulky, but as improvements on the body are almost always a standard when it comes to creating a new product, it is always expected to have a level of improvement on that feature.
For this concept, you have a thinner body for the iPhone 6. Putting the concept of the iPhone side-by-side with the body of the iPhone 5, you see a 20% difference in terms of the thinness of the phone, which seems to be putting Apple's claim of the iPhone being a masterpiece that defies the concept in physics of having more in less space.
There is also a new home button that is touted to work like magic. You are no longer restricted to just the home button, as the concept makes use of a Magic Trackpad that allows you to navigate through the phone with a trackpad once you touch any part of the bottom of the iPhone 5.
Lastly, one of the more noticeable additions is the iSight Pro for a much better camera feature, as it will bring a 12-megapixel and f/1.8 aperture for the best results.
The iOS 8 on the iPhone 6?
From the get-go, this particular concept design is obviously something that won't be seen in the public eye for a while, considering that Apple is still hard at work with its iOS 7, which is still in beta testing.
However, another portion of this video that is interesting to note (but has the flavor of impossibility, given Apple's standards and trademark design for its flagship smartphone device.
Here, you can see a curved design of the iPhone 6, with the back having a curved instead of a straight angle putting the phone at an impossibly asymmetrical position. The corners have also been rounded off, and from the front, the concept almost looks like the front of a Samsung, though the back would be curved, similar to how you PC mouse devices look like.
The video also posited the notion of a bigger screen, some of which have been designed with an edge-to-edge display.
