To the disappointment of many awaiting fans, Samsung Galaxy S5 may not include some of its highly anticipated features - 64-bit processor, Android 4.4 KitKat and fingerprint sensor.

The rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 may skip the fingerprint sensor, which is one of the prime features of iPhone 5S. The Korea Herald reported that Samsung is working hard with partner Crucialtec for the inclusion of fingerprint sensor in future Samsung devices. However, the biometrics feature may not be ready until late 2014. Thus, consumers can expect the said feature on the Galaxy Note 4.

The successor of Samsung Galaxy S4 will also most likely to skip the 64-bit processor chip. Amidst the announcement of Apple's iPhone 5S, Samsung's CEO Shin Jong-kyun told Korea Times said Samsung will bring 64-bit processors to its future Galaxy phones. However, the catch is, the 64-bit processor chip will not arrive in "the shortest time". Thus, the said processor may power the Galaxy Note 4.

The non-inclusion of 64-bit processor may also yield for the smartphone to skip the Android 4.4 KitKat that is scheduled to arrive in Oct. Last week, the presentation at the Intel's Developer Forum event suggested that Android 4.4. KitKat will only support 64-bit processors. Thus, no 64-bit processor and no Android 4.4 KitKat.

Aside from the three aforementioned specs and features that are about to arrive to the Samsung Galaxy S5, the device is also rumoured to come with 20.7 MP back camera succeeding the Galaxy S3's 8 MP and Galaxy S4's 13 MP.

Samsung Galaxy S5 will also come with Sharp's new screen technology, IGZO screen display, which was initially rumoured to arrive in new iPhones. Galaxy S5 is also rumoured to come with 4 K screen resolution, which is beyond Full HD resolution.

However, South Korean tech giant has not confirmed the rumoured features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 or if it will really release such device.
