Samsung Galaxy S5 in "Electric Blue" hue will be available for purchase starting Aug. 17 in the U.S. However, this blue variant is exclusive to electronics retailer Best Buy.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S5 can be purchased under contract from carriers like Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. Also, there is a killer deal offered between the time frame of Aug. 17 and Aug. 23. Within this time period, the Samsung handset can be availed for $99 under 2-year contract from the aforementioned carriers, according to Phone Arena.
In case a user signed up for the monthly instalment programs like Verizon Edge, AT&T Next or Sprint Easy Pay, the Galaxy S5 can be purchased for $0 down. In addition, the subscriber will also receive a Best Buy gift card worth $100 upon activating the smartphone.
Interested readers and potential buyers with "My Best Buy" membership can get the Electric Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 on Aug 15. This means, members will get the handset two days prior to the availability to general public on Aug. 17.
However, there is more to the deal. From Aug. 17 (in case of general public) and Aug. 15 (in case of My Best Buy members), the aforementioned discounted price applies to all available hues of the Samsung Galaxy S5 purchased via Best Buy. Nevertheless, this killer deal ends on Aug. 23. As mentioned earlier, this deal is applicable only for Verizon, AT&T and Sprint customers.
