Samsung Galaxy S5 features may include a 5.5 inch flexible screen display.

The Korea Herald reported that Samsung is beginning mass production of flexible screens that will probably arrive in future Samsung devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S5. The screen size is also almost as big as Samsung Galaxy Note 3's screen display.

However, according to iDigitalTimes, the inclusion of flexible displays is highly unlikely since the technology has to be improved. Samsung still has to develop batteries that are curved to match the flexible displays.

The report continued that the adoption of flexible displays may be seen in a variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the rumoured new Samsung Galaxy F series.

Initial reports stated that the Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will most likely be in March 2014 and will be available for purchase in April. However, new rumours claimed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 will make an appearance at the Mobile World Congress event next year. The event will be held on Feb 24 to 27.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 features are reported to include a 64-bit processor similar to what the iPhone 5S is powered with. This rumour is further fuelled by Android Authority's report which cited Korean news Web site Daum and stated that the processor chip is already on its final stage of production.

This is also supported by the assuring statement of Samsung's CEO JK Shin during the iPhone 5S release date. Mr Shin stated that Samsung will bring 64-bit processors to the market next year.

Aside from a powerful processor, the Samsung Galaxy S5 may also include other features, according to circulating rumors. These features include the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat, fingerprint sensor, Sharp's new IGZO screen technology and 4K screen resolution.
