Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A Kills Galaxy S5 Flagship, "Best" from Samsung Yet Offers Galaxy S5 Prime Preview

Samsung recently released its Galaxy S5 LTE-A variant suggesting that the Korean tech giant wants to push its devices further. While the Galaxy S5 LTE-A variant sounds like another Samsung flagship edition with minor upgrades, it does bring a lot more to the table than expected. In fact, some go as far to say that the LTE-A variant blows out the original flagship. Likewise, it is also a sneak peak of what people can expect from Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S5 Prime series.
As the market remains on standby for the iPhone 6, Samsung took advantage of the opportunity releasing another handset under its S5 flagship series. According to Forbes, as unappealing as the name suggests, the handset brings to the table upgrades from the original handset offering an impressive and targeted smartphone product.
LG G3 became the standard for smartphone displays when it came out. Samsung matches that with a QHD display offering 2560 x 1440 pixels. The LG G3 offers 5.5-inch QHD display while the Galaxy S5 LTE-A variant offers 5.1 inches meaning it has higher pixel density at 577ppi. Currently, Samsung's device holds the highest pixel density for any handset available.
The LG G3 offers 534ppi while the iPhone 5s offers 326ppi. However, one point of argument is that despite high pixel densities, people can only differentiate as much high definition resolution. As for the performance, the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A variant delivers considerable upgrade running on Snapdragon 805 chipset. The handset is the first to run on the new processor. The LTE-Variant is ahead of devices like the HTC One M8 and the Galaxy S5 because it runs on the 805 compared to the 801. Likewise, it also switches to 2.7GHz quad-core Krait 450 in place of the 2.45GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor.
Other reported specs include 718MHz Adreno 420, 3GB RAM, LTE-Advanced connection offering as much as 225 megabits per second. If the device is a prelude to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime then the upcoming luxury series is promising. According to @evleaks, the device will either be called Prime or Galaxy F with gold variants available in glowing gold and perfect gold hues. Many believe the LTE-A variant is a preview because it is only available in South Korea.
