Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 features may pack three-sided screen display, according to the latest report from Bloomberg.

The report said that Samsung is confident to bring more advanced curved displays next year. The screen displays will offer users three different sides to use and to receive content from. The latest display technology is called YOUM AMOLED display is already being developed by the company.

Each side of the screen display is functional and can be used independently. However, this led us to believe that there will be a lot of customization that needed to be done in the smartphone.

Bloomberg's report claimed that consumers can expect to see this technology in the second half of 2014. Thus, this proposition implied that the technology may not yet be ready on Samsung Galaxy S5's release. The Galaxy Note 4 will be released in the second half of 2014 and will most likely pack this futuristic feature.

However, Samsung will also most likely to speed things up in the development department of the screen displays to meet the deadline for the Samsung Galaxy S5. This is to battle the rumoured iPhone 6 that is expected to pack a curved screen display protected with Sapphire Glass. iPhone's screen may be one of the best in the market.

Some of the confirmed features of Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 4 announced by the company itself on its annual Analyst Day are 16 MP ISOCELL camera sensor to bring high quality photos, and 2,560 x 1,440 WQHD and 560 ppi resolution. Samsung announced that its smartphones arriving in 2015 will pack Ultra High Definition 4K displays. Moreover, Samsung already announced that the upcoming smartphones will pack 64-bit chip processors.

Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 release dates are still unconfirmed. Reports claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will arrive on the first half of 2014. It is speculated that the next generation of the Galaxy S line will arrive on the first quarter of next year. Key tech events such as Consumers Electronics Show and Mobile World Congress are lined up early next year. Samsung has been a key participant and always introduces new devices on these events.
