The Samsung Galaxy S5 release may be just around the corner. According to recent reports, the Korean tech giant has given out invites for an event on February. While the company did not divulge if it will announce the Samsung Galaxy S5, many analysts believe it will be venue for the company. The Samsung "unPacked 5" event during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona may be the event everyone is waiting for.

As reported by Reuters via NASDAQ, the Samsung Galaxy S5 release was pushed earlier to curb the disappointing sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The earlier release of the S5 will be to gain a good lead ahead of competitors. Apple will be releasing the iPhone 6 later this year.

Prior to the giving out of invites, there were already a number of reports about the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S5. Previously, Eldar Murtazin was on the headlines after predicting the announcement of the device. Last year, the blogger became popular for his prediction of the S4. Because of his track record, many credit weight to the blogger's prediction of the Galaxy S5 announcement on Feb 23.

Forbes reported a similar preview of the Galaxy S5 on Feb 24. According to the report, the company has indeed sent out invites for their "Unpacked, Episode 1" event. The report also highlighted the large 5 found on the invite. The 5 has also been emblazoned twice. Analysts consider this a considerable tease for the market. However, they also advise that people should wait until the event. The predictions and expectations might backfire not unless Samsung clarifies the release of the Samsung Galax S5 device.

The announcement has been noted globally. According to reports, many believe Samsung to release the device earlier in hopes of getting sales better than the S4. It was in June 2013 when Samsung provided a guide on its record profits. It was in the fourth quarter when Bloomberg noted the first decline in profits of the company following nine consecutive quarters. According to Bloomberg:

"Samsung Electronics Co. (005930) posted its first profit decline in nine quarters as new Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhones won over high-end handset buyers and models from cheaper Chinese producers lured budget customers."

Aside from his Feb 23 prediction, Mr Murtazin recently tweeted about the specs of the device last Feb 4. The following are the confirmed specs according to the blogger:

SGS5 specs. 5.24 inch 2560x1440 560ppi, amoled, 3gb,32/64gb, exynos6 or snapdragon 805, 3.2 front/16mpx main. 3200 mah thats it ;)
