The recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S5 will be offered by all three of Australia's major mobile carriers, even though the Korean tech giant has not yet confirmed the pricing of its new flagship.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is introduced with a number of fresh features like the 5.1 inches Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, 2.5GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, 16MP sensor rear camera, category 4 standard for 4G/LTE speeds support and fingerprint sensor. The Samsung flagship is also dust-proof and water-resistant up to the IP67 standard, comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage space, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.

Virgin Mobile
Virgin Mobile will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S5 but there are no information about its pricing and release date just yet. Apart from the Samsung flagship, Virgin Mobile will also announce the availability of the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit under its name.
Optus
Optus will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S5 but similar to Virgin Mobile, there is no pricing and release date just yet. Interested customers can register here for more details.
Telstra

All four major carriers in Australia will offer the Samsung Galaxy S5 and we expect to see competition in plans and pricing. Thus far, although none of them announced the availability of the Gear line under their names, we expect to see more as we approach the release date of the Samsung wearables.
