Samsung Galaxy S5 release date may come very soon as consumers can now buy cheaper Galaxy S4.

Electronics retailer Best Buy is offering Samsung's flagship smartphone for $150, which is $50 off from its original retail price. Customers will receive a $50 gift card when they plan to buy the $199 Samsung Galaxy S4 with two-year contract. Moreover, Amazon also offers the handset for $49 with a two-year contract in Sprint.

The emergence of discounted Samsung Galaxy S4s likely signal the imminent release date of Samsung Galaxy S5. It could also mean that Samsung wants to sell more units for the upcoming holiday season.

According to rumours, Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack a larger screen display or a wraparound screen. The Galaxy S5 will also be powered by 64-bit processor that will deliver faster performance. Samsung said that it will bring 64-bit processors to the market by next year.

The device will also pack the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat and fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy S5 will come with 20.7 megapixels back camera. Lastly, with all of the high end and amazing specs, it is most likely that the Samsung smartphone will pack longer battery life.

However, other reports said that 64-bit processor, Android 4.4 KitKat and fingerprint sensor may not be included in the list of most probable Samsung Galaxy S5 features. There are still issues in the production of such features and may arrive to the Galaxy Note 4.

Samsung Galaxy S5 release date is expected to happen on March 2014 will be available for purchase the following month.

Other reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy S5 release date is at the Mobile World Congress event 2014 happening on February 24 to 27. But it is most likely that Samsung will hold its separate launch event.

However, Samsung has not confirmed the rumours yet.
