Samsung Galaxy S5 Seen in ‘Unpacked 5’ Trailer for the MWC 2014 Release?
Is it true that Samsung is going to release a Samsung Galaxy S5? This is just one of the questions people are asking after seeing the "trailer" of the said device on the "Unpacked 5".
The said trailer for the "Unpacked 5" event, which could be the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5 consists of photos like a pair on a beach holding two smartphones. Maybe this could give us a quick flash of the new and improved Samsung Galaxy S5.
The teaser lasted 33 seconds, it also shows words like "together", "explorer", "curiosity", "dad" and "outdoor"- each having a number 5 as a superscript. In the thirteen seconds part of the teaser there is a couple on the sand and holding two smartphones. Speculations say that the smartphone on the left could possibly be the Samsung Galaxy S5, let's presume that this is not a current Samsung smartphone.
On the other hand, the smartphone on the right side is identified as an existing Samsung device. Thinking like a detective, we can say that maybe this is the new Samsung Galaxy S5 because it is shown at centre part of the teaser. Thus far, it is already compared to existing Samsung devices like the Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S3 but nothing seemed to match the one seen in the teaser.
Some parts of the phone in the teaser don't match with the Galaxy S like the top part of the bezel and the corner of the device. The phone has a slender and different arc at the upper corner and less bright silver trim at the left part of the smartphone. It also appears thinner.
Reports say that this Samsung S5 might have fingerprint reader, which could possibly be embedded at the Home Button.
We don't know if this is really the Samsung Galaxy S5, maybe this photo seen on the teaser is already edited. If it is not really the Samsung S5, maybe it just wants to give hint what the Samsung Galaxy S5 would look like once released. But for sure, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is another big surprise coming from Samsung.
