Screen

The current standard for Android phablets is approximately 5 inches, 1080p screen, which the Samsung Galaxy S5 delivers. The Nexus 5 offers a slightly smaller viewable area but the iPhone 5s has much smaller display at 640 x 1136 resolution screen.

Under the Hood

Essentially, it is a tie between the two Android devices but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a slightly newer model of the Snapdragon SoC processor than the Google Nexus 5, which sports a Snapdragon 805. The Apple iPhone 5s lags behind with only 1GB of RAM to the 2GB of RAM of the Androids but it has a muscular PowerVR G6430 GPU, which blew many benchmark scores back when it was released. In the graphics department, this iOS device is no slouch.

Storage

It is a close fight in this department all devices are available in 16GB or 32GB internal memory variants. Although the iPhone 5s is available in 64GB variant, the two Androids have MicroSD card slot for memory expansion.

Camera

If we are talking about the megapixel count, then the Samsung Galaxy S5 is the clear winner with its 16MP rear camera, which can capture 2160p video at 30fps. On the other hand, the Google Nexus 5 boasts its Optical Image Stabilisation technology along with its 8MP camera. The iPhone 5s is last in this category with its 8MP camera.

Battery

Again, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is the clear winner in this department with 2800mAh battery compared to the 2300mAh of the Google Nexus 5 and 1560mAh for the iPhone 5s.
