Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom Specs Leak Before Its Release Date, 1.6 GHz Quad-Core CPU, Slimmer Design And 20MP Camera
Rumors on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom came first, followed by a leaked specs sheet. Currently, another leak came with alternative set of specs of Galaxy S5 Zoom.
The leak came from Poland in the form of a text on a piece of paper, which appears credible given Samsung has a huge R&D center near Warsaw, which has previously leaked some things before.
This new leak covers Galaxy S5 Zoom specs, which were already leaked in the past. But it also has new things to offer.
According to the rumor, Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a slimmer design compared to Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. It will feature a 1.6 GHz quad-core CPU in contrast to the previous leak which revealed 1.3 GHz Samsung Exynos 5 Hexa CPU with ARM Mali-T624 graphics.
Also, according to this new leak, Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will sport 2 GB RAM, which is different from 1. 5GB RAM listed in the benchmark previously. The list further suggested Galaxy S5 Zoom camera will be 20 MP instead of what the previous leak cited, which was only a 19 MP sensor camera.
But both leaks said it will come with 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash and Galaxy S5 Zoom will check in thinner than its predecessor. The lens will be "much better hidden in the casing."
Other specs of Samsung Galaxy S5 zoom include a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display of 720p resolution, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and optical image stabilization.
The expected release date of Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will be sometime in May. The only thing that is left to see is the actual image of its design and camera samples of the new 20 MP sensor camera.
At this point, it is difficult to tell which of the two leaks are accurate since Samsung has not revealed any official information regarding the matter yet.
