Samsung Galaxy S6 New Leaked Photos Has Surfaced, Shows Ready Handset In Metal Construction And Running On Android 5.0 Lollipop
The Samsung Galaxy S6, the next flagship is going to get unleashed in early 2015. Several leaked photos of Galaxy S6 have surfaced. One of the newly leaked images shows the flagship Galaxy S6 in metal body along with 5.0 Lollipop kind of lock screen on the display. This is a clear indication that the Galaxy S6 will sport a new design and the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop build, says PhoneArena.
According to PhoneArena, the alleged Galaxy S6 handset sports a metal frame along with sleek bezels. Above the display, there is a Samsung logo and there is another logo of the company placed below the rear camera. NDTV claims that the leaked photo of the rear panel is of low resolution but certainly indicates that it features a metallic finish.
There is another leaked photo that shows that Galaxy S6alongside the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S4. The handset appears to be taller than both the devices. The Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch display and the Galaxy S4 comes with a 5-inch display. In comparison to the older Galaxy S smartphones, the Galaxy S6 seems to feature a larger display. According to IBTimes post published on Dec. 29, the Galaxy S6 will house a 5.5-inch display screen.
PhoneArena states that the Super AMOLED display of Galaxy S6 would support a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset and feature the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. NDTV claims that there is an Exynos variant of the Galaxy S6 that will be powered by 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor along with Mali-T760 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. PhoneArena also adds that the South Korean tech giant will roll out a premium edition of the flagship called the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that will come equipped with dual edged display screen.
NDTV states that in the past it was heard that the codename of the Galaxy S5 successor is Project Zero that indicated that the South Korean will launch the sequel flagship with completely redesigned appeal. As of this writing, nothing mentioned in this post has been confirmed by Samsung. However, more and more speculations on the Galaxy S6 are cropping up. The Galaxy S5 is expected to get unveiled either at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 or Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015.
