Samsung Galaxy S6 Speculated To Feature Dual-Edge Curved Display And Snapdragon 810 SoC
Fresh rumours indicate that Samsung is currently working on Project Zero, which is nothing but launching the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 with a very new appeal. Recent leaks reveal that Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S6 with a new and unique kind of display.
According to GforGames, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will come with an innovative dual-edge display screen. This would put the Galaxy S6 one step ahead of the Galaxy Note Edge, which comes with a curved display screen on its right edge.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 arrived 7 months ago and now new rumours for its successor model have started floating. G4Games claims that the Samsung may make use of its YOUM display screen for the Galaxy S6 and both the sides of the device would feature curved displays.
According to a well-known tech analyst with IHD Technology named Jerry Kang has revealed that the Galaxy S6 that is slated to release in 2015 will feature a "dual-edge" display screen. He even went to claim that such a futuristic design was expected to come on the Galaxy Note Edge, but the South Korean tech giant choose to roll it out as with a curved display on one of its sides.
The source further states that the Galaxy S6 will feature a quad HD display of unknown size with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy Note Edge also features a quad HD display but becomes of the extra bit of screen it features, the screen resolution offered by the device is 2560 x 1600 pixels. However, the Galaxy S6 is now rumoured to come equipped with a dual-edge display. So, the display resolution would increase to 2560 x 1760 pixels.
PhoneArena has also listed more details on the expected Samsung Galaxy S6 features. The Galaxy S6 Project Zero may come housed with a Snapdragon 810 chipset. The rear camera may be of 16 MP or 20 MP along with optical image stabilization feature. On the front side, the handset may feature 5 MP camera. The Galaxy S6 specs and features are not officially confirmed by Samsung yet. In the coming months, we will come across concrete information.
