Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge price discounted by $200
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the newest flagship smartphone from the South Korean tech giant, was unveiled just last month to replace the Galaxy S6 Edge of 2015. But despite its recent release, the 32 GB Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone is now available on eBay with a massive price cut of $200 (AU$269).
On eBay, the unlocked 32 GB edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge with model number SM-G935F is listed with a price tag of $699 (AU$914) by The Techno Trading House, which is currently shipping the smartphone only in the United States. The seller has a positive rating of 98.4 percent, and is selling the smartphone in three colour options: black, silver and gold.
Since it is an international edition, the Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F, which has an original price tag of $899 (AU$1173), will work across the world on GSM networks. In the US, it can be used on GSM networks like T-Mobile and AT&T. However, it will not support CDMA networks like Sprint, Verizon Wireless and US Cellular.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is available at a full retail price of $749 (AU$977) through AT&T, while T-Mobile is selling the smartphone for $779 (AU$1016). Compared to these US carriers, the eBay seller is offering the unlocked Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone at a more attractive price tag. Moreover, the unlocked smartphone allows users to use any GSM network of their choice.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a phablet device that comes with a 5.5- Super AMOLED, dual-edge curved screen that supports Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Since it is an international variant, it is powered by Exynos 8890 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM.
For photography, the smartphone is equipped with 12 MP rear camera and a frontal shooter of 5 MP. It supports up to 200 GB of microSD card on its external storage slot. It is packed with a 3600 mAh battery.
