Samsung Galaxy S8 vs OnePlus 4: OnePlus may be improving resolution for perfect VR experience
OnePlus has made a quite a following for itself with its carefully crafted smartphones. The highly-anticipated OnePlus 4 device is set to clash with Samsung’s Galaxy S8. Even though a smartphone’s excellence cannot be judged by its specs and features alone, and also depends on a user’s tastes and preferences, the clash between the two will surely be talked about.
Reports claim that Samsung may release two variants of the Galaxy S8 in 2017 with curved screens. One will have a smaller QHD Display while the other could boast a 4K Display. However, it is also possible that the Galaxy S8 smartphone will have a 5.2-inch display and 2160 x 4096 pixel resolution.
As per Tech Radar, OnePlus 4 may have an improved screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a 5.5-inch display. Those who find such as high resolution in a small screen weird, OnePlus reportedly wants to improve the handset’s VR capabilities.
Not much is known about the battery capacity OnePlus 4 will come equipped with. However, there are rumours that the company is improving the Dash Charge technology found in OnePlus 3. This technology charges the battery very fast and can keep the device going full day with moderate usage.
Rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a massive 4,200 mAh battery though nothing has been confirmed by the Korean tech giant up to now. Wireless and fast–charging options will of course be included. Even though such as huge battery capacity could be unlikely, Samsung will definitely improve on S7’s 3,000 mAh capacity.
Some of the features expected in the Galaxy S8 are Viv AI assistant, iris scanner, mini projector and Smart Glow. The super-fast handset may sport a 3GHz Exynos 8895 processor in certain regions and a 3.2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 830 chip in the US. A 6GB RAM is also expected along with a 30MP primary/8MP secondary dual-lens camera.
The OnePlus 4 smartphone may boast equally impressive specs and features. Thus, it will very difficult to choose between the two handsets when they are released in 2017, writes iTech Post.
