The three Samsung Galaxy Alpha series namely, the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 have been in the news for quite some time. All the three models sport chamfered metal frame and are slated to roll out as midrange handsets. New reports claim that all the three handsets are going to be released in the coming month.

According to GforGames, the three Galaxy A series handsets are going to arrive first in South Korea on November. It further states that the new Samsung handsets will pit against Xiaomi smartphones. Recently, Xiaomi became the world's third largest smartphone manufacturer by dethroning Huawei. In the second quarter of 2012, Xiaomi managed to outperform Samsung in China by selling more handsets.

After coming to South Korea, the Galaxy A series handsets are expected to be launched in China to take on Xiaomi. According to Korea IT Times, the South Korean tech giant is also preparing to launch the Galaxy A series smartphones in China on November. PhoneArena states that the major mission of the Galaxy A series is to help Samsung regain the market share that it has lost to Xiaomi in China. Even other local manufacturers are competing well against Samsung in China.

Xiaomi is well-known for selling smartphones with marvelous features at very low prices. All the three Galaxy A series smartphones will be priced between $300 to $500. So, it is very evident that Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones have been built to compete with Xiaomi smartphones. Among the three, the Galaxy A7 is considered to sport a costlier price tag. All three feature 64-bit Snapdragon processors.

As of now, there is no information as to when Samsung plans to release the new midrange handsets in other parts of the world. If Samsung has built the Galaxy A series phones to rival against Xiaomi, the South Korean tech giant will aim to release them in those markets where Xiaomi phones are very popular.
