News about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note's pre-order circulated all over tech websites. However, Samsung quickly denied the news and said that tablet is not yet available.

The new tablet won the hearts of many critics and reviewers and it made quite an impression when it was introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Everyone got excited when Amazon posted an announcement for pre-orders of Samsung's new device, which the Korea-based company immediately retracted. According to a representative of Samsung, the post was mistake and inaccurate.

"The Note 10.1 is NOT available for pre-order, and in fact we have not yet announced final details, timing or pricing for this product. The information Amazon published is also not entirely accurate," Samsung said in a statement.

"Samsung does appreciate all the interest and excitement about this upcoming offering and we will have more details to share soon," the company quickly added.

At the MWC, Samsung emphasized on the Galaxy Note, making its flagship tablet for the year. The main selling point of this tablet is it uses Samsung's S-Pen, like its little phone/tablet sibling before it. The tablet uses Wacom's technology to enable pen input, which would put the Galaxy Note 10.1 into a select group of tablets with a pen or stylus input.

Samsung has been like Apple which is quiet about its release plans of the device. But the company often makes holiday season announcements in the mid-summer release, which would gel with the company's vague inferences of a summer release for the U.S. market.

However, is the S-Pen enough to topple high resolution screen displays. Will this be another hit device of Samsung like its Galaxy S3?
