South Korean conglomerate Samsung takes its tablet line up to the next level. The company has already released seven tablets for 2014. But the Web is still in frenzy with the rumoured release of Samsung Galaxy Tab S in time for Samsung's "Tab into Color Galaxy Premiere" in New York on June 12.

As the hype builds up with the nearing release date, here are five fresh features to anticipate on the smart gadget.

Powerful Processor

According to an article from GSM Arena, Samsung Galaxy Tab S will have two CPUs. One will be the Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset clocked at 1.9 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15. The other one will be Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7. Both CPUs will be bundled with 3 GB of RAM and 533MHz ARM Mali-T628. These will also have 32 GB internal memory each which might be expandable via the microSD card slot. With the powerful processor, users will be able to simultaneously perform different tasks on their tablets with lightning fast speed.

Great Display

According to an article from Trusted Reviews, Samsung Galaxy Tab S will have the model number SM-T700. It will come with an 8.4-inch and a 10.5-inch AMOLED screen, 2560 x 1600p high quality display, and 359 pixel per inches (ppi) image density. The company has been utilizing the AMOLED technology on its previous tablet, smartphone and digital camera releases but has stopped using the technology for the tablets in favor of the LCD panel.

With the comeback of AMOLED technology on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, tablet users will be able to experience the vivid color contrasts displayed on the screen. They will also have crisp and sharp viewing experience of the data, photos, movies and other information.

Picture Perfect Camera

The above-mentioned sources also stated that Samung Galaxy Tab S will sport an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Given this picture perfect feature, users who are fond of taking selfies and other snapshots can look forward to hours and hours of picture taking sessions.

Updated OS

Both sources cited above also mentioned that Samsung Galaxy Tab S will be shipped with Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board. With this operating system, users will be able to seamlessly browse the internet, use various apps, listen to music, and perform other tasks on their smart gadget.

High-end Tablet

With the overall powerful performance expected, Samsung Galaxy Tab S is reportedly a high-end tablet. The gadget got a 35,713 points rating at the AnTuTu benchmark. Along with the awesome gadget is the €449 price tag for the 8.4 inch model and €560 for the 10.5 model. These figures translate to AU$661 and AU$824, respectively.
