It is already known that Samsung will not be unveiling its Galaxy S8 flagship at the MWC 2017, but it will reportedly showcase its Galaxy Tab S3 device. Experts believe that the tablet will aim at productivity.

New photos of the tab have been leaked yet again, offering new clues. The leaks suggest that apart from its ability to dock with a keyboard, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also come with a highly advanced stylus. The leaked image of the stylus looks frighteningly similar to the Microsoft Surface Pen.

According to TechnoBuffalo, which exclusively obtained images of the device, the stylus may come with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 or could be sold separately as an accessory. As the Tab S3 is aimed at productivity, it won’t be surprising if it comes with the stylus included in the box. Known tipster Evan Blass earlier shared images of the tab, showcasing a very familiar design, oval fingerprint sensor/home button combo on the front and capacitive buttons. The recent leaks have also shown audio features tuned by AKG, a company known for manufacturing microphones, headphones and wireless audio systems.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will likely come in two colour variants, black and silver, and may have fancier names. Despite the decreasing popularity of tablets in recent years, the Galaxy Tab S3 is still a highly anticipated device as it is more of a hybrid device. It is perfect for consuming media and creating content. With keyboard and stylus support hinted, it could very much be like the Apple iPad Pro 2, also expected to be released soon.

MWC 2017 is knocking at the door and fans won’t have to wait long to know more about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Some of the leaked specs and features include a 9.6-inch AMOLED display, 4:3 aspect ratio, 4GB RAM, 32/128GB internal storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. According to PhoneArena, the recently leaked S-Pen images have shown that the stylus is a bit chunkier and thicker than previous models. It is still unclear what upgrades have been implemented in the S-Pen.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Book, along with Galaxy Tab S3, could also be unveiled this year. It is a separate unannounced device and not a Galaxy TabPro successor. It sounds like a 2-in-1 premium device and could very well be the Microsoft Surface killer.

Microsoft is also expected to release its Surface Pro 5 hybrid this year. This would mean a clash with the Galaxy Book and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
