Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 reaches Indian testing labs; Possible price revealed
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 could be released with the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 devices. The android tablet is expected to feature an Exynos 8890 processor and Adreno 510 GPU. The Korean giant is reportedly planning to bombard users with devices with the best of specs to gain back its lost customer base after the Galaxy Note 7 disaster.
There are rumours that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be launched in March 2017. A supposed Galaxy Tab S3 was spotted on Zauba recently. The website tracks India's import and exports. The listing did not reveal much about the device’s specs or features but it hd a price mentioned of INR 34,138 (AU$690), writes GSMArena.
The 9.7-inch tablet was supposed to be revealed in September 2016 but that did not materialise. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 could be made available in two variants, WiFi (SM-T820) and LTE (SM-T825). Zauba price listings are generally incorrect.
Thus, fans will be able to know the exact price of the device only when Samsung reveal an official statement regarding the same or directly launches it in the market. As per SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 may sport an AMOLED display along with other top specs.
Most Samsung devices are first sent to India for testing, research and improvement as there are numerous such centres in India that offer to do the testing at lower rates than other countries. Moreover, India is a massive market for Samsung. Thus, it is highly likely that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been sent to India for testing purposes.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tab is expected to come with an 8-inch and a 9.7-inch display with an upgraded screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. There have been reports of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, 32GB internal storage, a microSD slot and AMOLED technology. It may run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
