The Apple iPhone 6 Plus' thickness is only 7.1 mm. Many tech sites like PhoneArena have reported that the phablet is so thin that it can be bent quite easily. PhoneArena claims that as of now only nine customers have expressed their grievances about bent iPhones. Now Samsung has released a new video that shows that the Galaxy Note 4 is very strong and cannot be bent easily. To show how durable the Galaxy Note 4 is, Samsung has carried out a three-point bend test as well as a human weight test.

In the three-point bend test, the Galaxy Note 4 was pressed with a high pressure of 250N from the center while the handset was held firmly from both sides. For the human test, a person with a weight of 100 kg was asked to sit on the Note 4.

After conducting the bend test, it was revealed that the phablet was bent by the pressure, but it managed to gain back its original shape. There was no damage done to the handset after carrying out the test. According to PhoneArena, Samsung says that the metal frame and the reinforced structure between parts make the handset durable.

Quite recently, Samsung was criticised for a gap of the size of a business card found on one of the sides of the Note 4. When Samsung came to know about it, they revealed that the gap does not hamper the performance of the phablet. It proclaimed that the gap is an important manufacturing feature that helps in reinforcing the internal parts of the device.

The issue about the gap on the side of Note 4 was revealed by Korean media, ITToday.co.kr as soon as the Note 4 was made available for purchase in South Korea. By the end of October, the Note 4 will be made available in 140 markets. In the U.S., the handset is expected to go on sale starting mid-October.
