Samsung's Galaxy smartphone stable is growing by the day and the latest to join the tech giant's mid-range is a new Android handset called Galaxy Win, which in many aspects is a Galaxy S3 replica.

Two leaked images of the new mobile phone were provided by a gadget retailer based in Vietnam named Mainguyen. The pictures showed the front face and back portion of the device, which expectedly shows off the sleek profile that the tech world has come to identify with the GS3.

The specs included in the report pointed to a JellyBean 4.1.2 running the show for the Galaxy Win, which draws its power from a quad-core Snapdragon CPU that packs a top processing speed of 1.2GHz.

The screen size is identical to that of the GS3 at 4.7-inch with Super AMOLED, which is a surprise attribute considering that the Vietnamese source of the leaked report underscored the likelihood that the new handset will make its way to emerging market.

In other words, the Galaxy Win may be geared for the price-sensitive market but Samsung is not scrimping on the hardware and softwares it deploys with the gadget.

As a shooter, the Galaxy Win could prove an easy winner for consumers with its decent 5MP rear sensor, mixed with a front cam that has yet to provide specific details, based on the same report.

Juicing up the new Galaxy member is a 200-mAh battery, which should be sufficient enough to last a day of operation for the average user.

The Galaxy Win joins the latest crop of mid-level smartphones that Samsung has been cranking out, specifically geared for consistently growing markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

Samsung's latest dual-SIM line up now consists of the Galaxy Grand Duos and a version of the rumoured Galaxy S4 Mini that reports said Samsung will formally introduce this week, with the commercial rollout to follow shortly.

Dual-SIM handsets have become popular in select markets like Southeast Asia, China and India, which explains Samsung's ramped up efforts of producing and releasing them.

Again, by reason of proximity, there is a strong likelihood that Australia will be part of the first markets where the Galaxy Win will land, which according to BGR New will happen May this year.
