Samsung Galaxy devices owners may jump in delight as the tech giant is working on the Jelly Bean upgrade of the Galaxy S3, S2, Note and the upcoming Galaxy Note 2.

Google recently released its latest mobile operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it is expected that Android devices will eventually release an update for the mobile software.

According to Sam Mobile, test firmwares for the Samsung Galaxy S3 have passed, and they are working on a public version of Android 4.1, and the wait is on the public version along with Google's agreement.

The tests for the Samsung Galaxy S2, on the other hand, are still ongoing. However, the initial testing looks fine. Samsung is updating Galaxy S2's software since the device is still selling. However, if the testing did not work out, the company will deliver a value pack update, but for now it is still on track for the SGS2 to gain Android 4.1.

As for the Galaxy Note, it appears that it is in the same stage as Galaxy S2. The initial testing looks good. However, there is no concrete date as to when the update will be released.

Lastly, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which will be released later this month at the IFA 2012 in Berlin. There are rumors that the device will be released with Jelly Bean in tow. However, if the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 does arrive with Android 4.0 it will receive an update to Jelly Bean a couple of months after launch.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2 comes with unconfirmed date of release. There are speculations that Samsung will bring the SGS3 at the end of Q3 or beginning of Q4, the SGS2 is expected sometime in Q4, along with the Note update, and the Note 2.
