Although fans have been clamoring for “Half-Life 3” for years now, there are still other games in the franchise that players can’t seem to get their hands on. Fans have always wondered about “Half-Life 2: Episode 4.” The game was cancelled a long time ago, but new leaked screenshots reveal how the game would’ve been if it were released.

“Half-Life 2: Episode 4” was originally being developed by Arkane but it was cancelled by Valve three years ago. Not much is known about the cancelled game but Valve’s Marc Laidlaw confirmed that the game did exist at one point. Laidlaw was quoted on saying that the game was promising, but they decided to cancel it and not pursue it at the time.

The cancelled game is also known as Return to Ravenholm. The place will be a familiar area to fans of the franchise, but several screenshots of the revamped area can be seen at PCGamer.

In related news, fans who are eagerly waiting for the next entry in the “Half-Life 3” series are once again teased to more rumours regarding the much-awaited title. Several NEOGaf users pointed out a recent Steam Database hack leaked with several notable titles that could be coming out, among them “Half-Life 3.” Other titles in the leak included “Final Fantasy X/X2 HD-Remaster” and “Final Fantasy VI.”

Valve is yet to comment on the leak. However, the company has been pretty quiet on the game for years now so fans shouldn’t expect “Half-life 3” anytime soon.
