'The Sims 4' DLCs October, November, December: Star Wars Costume, Swimming Pools, Ghosts, Gnomes And New Careers
EA and Maxis will release three free content updates for "The Sims 4." It begins this month with new updates following on November and December 2014.
October 2014 Free Content Updates
After EA released the official teasers via Twitter, players can begin downloading the latest free content updates for "The Sims 4." For October, players will receive the spooky ghosts theme for the game.
Dead Sims will rejoin the world of the living to either haunt Sims or join the household and help out on daily tasks. Ghost Sims offer unusual radiation of emotions that can put others positive or negative depending on the mood and cause of death. Ghost Sims are moody and it all depends on what each one feels or the cause of death. Death from laughter will always make the ghost positive with a moodlet causing nearby Sims to become playful. Death from anger can cause a different effect and attitude around other Sims. Death from electrocution makes the ghost capable of breaking objects through possession. Cowplant death sentence can make ghosts interested in gardening for eternity which are useful for growing the household's garden - beware of bad mood that can lead to several dead plants. Players can befriend ghosts Sims too with the option to ask them to join the household.
Ghost Sims joining the household will gain back the ability to do things as if alive such as getting a career, marrying and performing skills such as gardening. Players with advanced Sims can resurrect these ghosts Sims back to life using three powerful ingredients available in the game. Banishment is optional in case the ghosts Sims are bothering the household or other NPC Sims in the game by simply clicking the urn or tombstone of respective ghosts Sims. Here are the other contents included on the free update:
- Star Wars Costume Set based from Jedi Master Yoda, Luke Skywalker's X Wing pilot suit, Princess Lea's white robes and Darth Vader's life support suite.
- New eye colours as requested by players
- Minor fixing included as well
November And December Upcoming Updates
After this month, expect two major updates arriving on November and December 2014. It includes some aspects which were not included on the core game version:
1. Swimming pools are returning on November. No details yet regarding changes of meshes and social interactions.
2. Put-Your-Sims-To-Work Month as an introduction to new career paths and rewards. No specific career paths have been unveiled as of now but set for release on December 2014.
3. Gnomes return as well and some of these unusual characters are unlikely to live in gardens.
Players will get all of these content updates from October to December 2014 for free. EA will require players to log in using the Origin account to download the available patches.
