The past few months revolved around whether Apple will release two versions of its iPhone 6. So far there have been several leads and predictions supporting the idea. There have also been a number of schematics and mockups offering an insight on what the iPhone 6 will look like. This time, simulation video shows what people can expect from a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 running on iOS.

The iPhone 6 will not be released until later this year thus Apple remains tight-lipped about the device. In an attempt to shed more light about the iPhone 6, 9to5Mac created a physical iPhone 6 simulator. The goal is to see how the 4.7-inch display will work while on iOS.

According to a previous report by Mark Gurman (from 9to5Mac as well), Apple may be gearing up for a phablet version of the iPhone 6 though resolution will only be at 960 x 1704. This will give a pixel density of 416ppi for the 4.7-inch edition and 356ppi for the 5.5-inch version. Regardless if one or both devices find their way into the market, supply chain sources note that Apple will ensure that the iOS can be enlarged to work well with a larger screen.

Nonetheless, 9to5Mac also reported that Apple will explore the larger size and higher resolution combination with programs like Maps and Safari. 9to5Mac used a smartphone with similar dimensions as the reported iPhone 6. The handset used in the simulation was Motorola's Moto X. The site incorporated an iPhone 6 dummy bezel to create a 4.7-inch space. To see the simulation video and photos, click here.

BGR also reported about another iPhone 6 dummy leaked with a number of consumers saying that the dummy looks close enough to a Samsung phone. YouTube User UrAvgConsumer uploaded a video showing Apple's fans reacting to the reported iPhone 6 mockup. One of the users commented that the mockup does not look like the previous iPhone offerings and that it follows a similar design format to the Samsung Galaxy series.
