Asus will release a sequel of the Asus PadFone Infinity soon, reports indicate. Running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, the company's tablet will be going against the likes of Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for the last quarter. Who will win?

Asus has been proven itself one of the best tech manufacturers around. With the first and second generation Google Nexus 7 under its name, consumers have identified a specific value to the company's products. This can be observed in the first release of the Padfone Infinity. Many considered as one of the best smartphone-tablet hybrids around.

This bundle unit functions as a 10.1-inch tablet and a 5-inch smartphone. Users simply snap or fold the table to transform it into a mobile handset. The first generation gave Asus enough success for the company to proceed and develop the second installment.

According to a report by TechKiddy, the Taiwanese tech manufacturer will be announcing the second Padfone device in the coming months. Just like its rival brands Sony and Samsung, Asus will take advantage of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800. Qualcomm has been powering many of the latest devices on the market.

Reports also indicated spotting a device on AnTutu benchmarks. The device was listed as Asus PadFone. The original model was A80, the recent listing sighted was A86. This highly means the sequel is coming soon. According to the benchmark listing, the second PadFone Infinity will have a full HD 1080p display. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Google just released the update for Jelly Bean. Given that Asus has produced the Google Nexus 7.2., some sources say, it can change the interface of the second PadFone to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
