Snow Patrol to Deliver Acoustic Show Only In Australia On September [VIDEOS]
Snow Patrol is all set to return to Australia by the end of September which will be held in Sydney and Melbourne. It was for the V Festival in 2009 when they last made their Australian gig.
The band is expected to play the old favourites of their fans plus more songs from their newest album called 'Fallen Empires.' The thing that would make their gig unique is that they will sing the songs in an all acoustic version. The songs will be stripped with singer Gary Lightbody, guitarist Nathan Connolly and pianist Johnny McDaid.
Many fans might find it odd for the band to perform in partial lineups for the two day shows. But it is a good sign that they may plan to reintroduce their songs to their Aussie fans and prepare for a bigger comeback in the land by the early part of 2013.
According to a music reviewer in Melbourne, the Snow Patrol performs better live and sounds better than compared to their recorded sessions. The reviewer emphasized though that this does not mean their records should not be patronized. It's just the difference in the energy the band projects during the live performances that impress most of their fans.
