Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth gets down and dirty for his GQ spread - literally.

Dressed down to a fitted V-neck shirt plus muddy slacks, the "Snow White & the Huntsman" star opens up on his role as the huntsman and how his buff body manages to bag him good roles.

From being the god of thunder to acting like a complete drunken fool, Hemsworth's film roles would have only one thing in common - Chris's' flawless physique. Surprisingly, the buff body is the reason as to why Chris Hemsworth has been getting a lot of film contracts lately. In the latest issue of GQ Magazine, Chris Hemsworth tells it all.

"It's helped me get a job, sure," shared Chris, adding, "But you hope it's not the only thing that's helped."

Though for Chris Hemsworths' role in "Snow White & the Huntsman", the buffed-up physique was just half the job. Hemsworth had to completely make a fool out of himself and act drunk. In preparation for those scenes, booze was the last thing Chris had needed.

"It really shakes everything up, and you feel a bit more alive," explained Chris on his role as the huntsman, adding "I actually started spinning in circles before the scenes where I didn't need to be drunk".

Now that a sequel is said to be in the works, will Chris still be playing the drunken act or continue being the heartthrob who stole Snow White's heart? Thankfully, playing the heartthrob onscreen doesn't cause any qualms at home with Chris' equally hot wife, Elsa Pataky. Apart from being the incredibly perfect husband to Elsa Pataky, Chris is practicing being a first-time father to daughter, India Rose.

Despite the high ranking box-office films, Chris remains as down-to-earth as ever and admits to finding pre-shoot rituals of other actors completely strange.

"I worked with a guy once who would chant, 'I'm beautiful and I have a secret, I'm beautiful and I have a secret,'" shared the 28-year old actor.

Sure to be a hit among "Thor" and "Snow White" fans, Chris Hemsworths' spread for GQ Magazine is set for a July release.
