It was just last month when the iPad 5 rumours were spreading like wildfire all over the Net but things became more exciting when updated Sonny Dickson leaks released more details about the Apple gadget.

Sonny Dickson, the Australian teen who has always been a reliable source of Apple gadget and smartphone leaks, posted high resolution images of the newest iPad version of the tech giant. The leaked pictures showed the tablet in colours of silver and space gray. It was shown to be super sleek with silver trimmings on its edges up front. It was just recent when the same space gray colour was seen on the iPhone 5S.

Many analysts are thinking that the Apple iPad 5 will have a display at 9.7 inches just similar to the iPad 4. Other reports include its new feature of having an 8MP camera and this goes similar with the iPad Mini rumours. More reports like the one in Tech2 mention that the sensor modules of the new Apple tablets will be allegedly rendered by Sony. This can lead to the possibility of Apple upgrading to a whopping 5MP sensor for the new items. Surely, it would also have the brand new A7 chip for its processor.

The most recent Sonny Dickson leaks feature the images of the alleged new Apple tablet's casing along with its front panel. It also seems to sport a thinner bezel. Mirror UK reports that some experts are saying it would be thinner by two millimetres and will weigh lighter than the iPad 4. Additional reports mention that due to a possible shortage of supply of retina displays, this may be a cause of delay for the release of the iPad Mini 2.

Sonny Dickson once mentioned to Reuters that he gets all his photo and video sources from China.

As for the iPad 5 release date rumours, it still remains at the aimed October 22.
