“Sons of Anarchy” stars Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love have a long history together since their early rock and roll days and after years of being silent Manson revealed that they never had a falling out. Also known for his role as Ron Tully in the FX biker drama series, the 46-year-old singer admitted that his involvement with the show is all about his father who is a big SOA fan.

Determined to make his father proud, the controversial singer played the role as a “prison shot-caller” in the show’s season finale. His role as Tully was last seen in the show’s episode 12, “Red Rose,” where he ended Juice’s (Theo Rossi) suffering in prison after the SAMCRO member admitted to Jax (Charlie Hunnam) that he helped Gemma (Katey Sagal) in covering her tracks on Tara’s (Maggie Siff) murder.

“The first day, I showed up—the director, Paris [Barclay], he's black, and I had to say some very racist things in my very first episode,” Manson told Esquire. “The direction from Paris was, "Just make it all about the moments in between what you say, and it's all in your face."”

He also got some acting tips from the “Crimson Peak” star when he needed to deliver a one liner, “I miss my dogs,” and Charlie’s advice is for him to act like crazy but don’t know it, just “like in real life.” This is not the first TV gig that the singer had, his first small screen appearance was on “Eastbound & Down” where he played a roller rink server, and he also voiced The Shadow in the TV series “Once Upon a Time.”

Meanwhile, the “Jawbreaker” star revealed that Courtney and him are always been weird with each other because the former Hole singer slept with most of his friends. The two singers did not do any scenes together in “Sons of Anarchy” but they saw each other on the red carpet during the show’s Season 7 premiere.

Despite the reports of a feud, Manson told the publication that there is no sexual tension between them. Back in 1998, Marilyn Manson and Hole, Love’s alternative rock band, toured together but the “Malibu” singers left the joint tour after nine performances.
