Sony’s marquee racer for the PS4, “Driveclub,” may have launched with a clutch of issues, but developer Evolution Studios is doing its best to make sure those who purchased the game get their money’s worth. The game’s March update 1.12 is now live and sees a host of new features and refinements, including new vehicles, replays and much more.

A stunning new trailer on the official Driveclub Facebook page gives a brief overview of what update 1.12 has in store for players. Gamers get a glimpse of the new Peugeot Onyx Concept car as well as a sneak peek at the previously reported Lamborghini expansion pack, which brings four new vehicles, 10 new tour events and five new trophies.

Update 1.12 also comes with a slew of new features like a new pace setter tour pack and the much-anticipated arrival of replays. The pace setter tour pack comes with five new trophies and 12 new tour events, while replays allow gamers to edit and save gameplay after single-player races. The new features in "Driveclub" 1.12 include:

- Adds Replays to the game for all Single Events and Tours. Players can now save a Replay at the end of any single player event and view it later from the Replays section.

- You can activate Photomode at any time within a replay

- A new Driver Level 50 reward has been added, giving players the ability to unlock the Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione

- Players now get more points scored for momentum, control and keeping on the track, due to Drift Mode scoring refinements

- Drag reduction has been adjusted when veering off road, slowing down when adccidentally driving off-course happens more gradually

- Drag penalty on world collisions has been adjusted so that players no longer gain any advantage after colliding with a wall

- Players can now control scren brightness in-game (new Display Option)

- Players can now change volume levels on individual SFX channels (new Audio options in Settings)

- AI opponents in a Single Event can now be forced to drive in the same car the player chooses

- Players can now choose factroy paint jobs for computer controlled opponents (new Display Option)

- Players choosing to mute voicechat in Multiplayer no longer have an icon displayed while driving

- Categories for downloaded Livery Packs have been added in the Bonus Designs in Customisation

- Status information regarding friends currently playing "Driveclub" will now be shown in the Social Hub

- Camera view now centres behind the car when a player is reset to the track

- Multiplayer live streaming via Twitch and Ustream has been added

- Heat haze and mirages have been added

- Performance improvements, minor tweaks and bug fixes have been implemented

Gamespot also lists a full changelog of all add-ons as well as a list of post 1.1.2 updates. While there’s no concrete info from Evolution about the status of the long-delayed PS Plus edition of the game, the post 1.12 updates section states the team is making progress. The developer is implementing continual server updates to improve stability for all players and enable the release of the PS Plus version of “Driveclub.”
