A new service has been officially announced by Sony in relation to the PlayStation Plus subscription service. Dubbed as the PlayStation Plus Bonus, it appears that the new service will be adding to the benefits of those who are already subscribed to the PS Plus.

DualShockers reports that the service will give discounts via vouchers, discounts and benefits to PS Plus subscribers. The items that can be availed using the three areas vary. Though for the meantime, the vouchers and discounts will be replaced monthly with a new deal, the “benefits” offer will be accumulated for every month.

In addition, the report also states that the service will be available at the same time that the PlayStation Plus games are announced and made available for PS Plus subscribers. For now, the service is limited only to PS Plus subscribers located in Italy.

There is no confirmation yet if this is just a beta run of the service and if it will be rolled out to other areas in the coming months. The service does look like a good deal to entice more PS4 and even PS3 players to avail of the PS Plus.

In the meantime, for those who are looking for great deals for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, the Spring Fever Week 6 has already arrived. It brings with it a number of titles that will be available until April 13. Fans of Supergiant Games’ “Bastion” who also have a PS Plus subscription can enjoy the 10% launch-week discount of the game. This will be an even greater deal for those who also own a PS Vita, as the title will be launched as a cross-buy later on.

PS4 players can enjoy some discounts on “Dragon Age: Inquisition” editions. Three editions are available: the standard edition ($41.99), the deluxe edition ($48.99) and the Deluxe Edition upgrade ($6.99) can be purchased at a sale price. PS Plus subscribers have an additional discount.

For PS3 players, there is a wider range of “Dragon Age” titles. Some of the choices include “Dragon Age: Origins,” “Dragon Age: Origins Awakening,” “Dragon Age II” and “Dragon Age: Inquisition.” For entertainment, various LEGO movies are also on sale. The full list of discounted games and movies can be viewed via the PlayStation Blog.
