Sony Xperia Tablet With 12-Inch Display And Stylus Pen
Digitimes reported that Taiwan-based supply chains that several manufacturers are developing large tablets. Sony Mobile included to these manufacturers' plan to launch a tablet with 12 inches of screen display and a stylus pen accessory.
"The sources pointed out that Sony's 12-inch tablet will feature high-end specifications and come with a stylus, targeting mainly markets that have demand for graphics-related applications," quoted from Digitimes.
It seems like the upcoming Xperia tablet with 12 inches of display is focused on bringing high-graphics performance and possible to use of high-class GPUs such as Qualcomm or NVIDIA. Using a stylus pen on an Xperia tablet could signify exclusive business and multimedia editing software from Sony Mobile, just like what Galaxy Note devices offer. Single Xperia Flagship Smartphone For 2015
Sony has acknowledged the lack of sustainability on releasing two Xperia flagship smartphones per year, referred to the few major differences between Xperia Z3 and Z2. Once in effect, the Japanese tech will put every high-class hardware parts and software features into one flagship smartphone with possible risk of unable to impart later technologies throughout the year.
"It is not a sustainable strategy over the long term," Director of Sony Xperia Marketing Calum MacDougall told TrustedReviews.
Even though the intention is to bring fresher devices every six months like the Xperia Z line, most changes such as from Xperia Z2 to Z3 are simply incremental updates. Both of these flagship smartphones feature a 20.7 MP Sony G lens camera and have been included to the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
MacDougall also told the site that upgrading from one product to another is not necessarily as big as users might see if kept over a year. However, the company has not confirmation yet if the plan for bi-annual major releases will be dropped off starting next year.
