Sony Smartwatch 2 vs Sony Smartwatch 1: Should You Jump To The New Android Compatible Watch?
Sony has been consistent in believing the trend of wearable technology compared to other giant companies out there, especially since they came up already with a Sony Smartwatch 2.
The second generation modern watch that is reportedly released in Asia and Europe, as Yahoo News reports, is now made available too in the US. It has NFC Technology and resistant to water and dust as well, due to its tough material build made out of aluminum for its case and a strap made out of silicon. The good news? It is compatible with any Android smartphone. This feature itself brings an edge when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Gear which only works for just one smartphone which is the Galaxy Note 3.
The Sony Smartwatch 2 is also way cheaper comapred to the Galaxy Gear, which is $300; the newest gadget from Sony is made available only for $200. This makes it a bit pricier than the first Sony Smartwatch though. However, compared to the Gear, the Smartwatch 2 cannot allow calls through it unless you have a wireless headset that works with a Bluetooth connection.
Sony added that their latest smartwatch can check text, emails, arrange calendars and like some posts over at Facebook. Majority of its features are improved making it way better than the first Sony Smartwatch. From its enhanced 1.6 inch display, to colourful straps that you can change every once in a while according to your mood or fashion, Sony has been successful in making an attractive package for their wearable gadget.
The Sony Smartwatch 2 interface is also better than the original, making its response time to finger touches faster. The apps may still be limited but the company is pushing efforts to encourage more third party developers to contribute more apps that are compatible to the smart watch gadget.
The Sony Smartwatch 2 can be availed through Sony's online stores and any other retail shops within your locality.
