Sony VAIO Pro 13 Review: Super Thin and Light!
Sony recently launched the VAIO Pro 13, the ultrabook is known for its thin design and light weight. Here is a review of the device for those who are considering buying the device.
Design and display:
The Sony VAIO Pro 13 gets its light weight from the carbon fibre material used for the shell. The device reportedly weighs about one kilogram. The angled "gap-less" keyboard provides for good ergonomics and less stressful typing experience.
The device comes equipped with a 13.3 inch full HD IPS LCD panel. The TRILUMINOS display coupled with the X-Reality for mobile provides high quality video and image viewing experience.
The Sony VAIO Pro 13 display is a ten point touch screen with an auto dimming ambient lighting sensor. The device starts within a few seconds from the sleep mode or cold boot.
Hardware Specs:
The Sony VAIO Pro 13 comes with the fourth generation Intel processors, customers can choose from either the Intel Core i5 or the Intel Core i7 processors. The RAM options are either 4 GB or 8 GB.
The device runs on the Windows 8 and comes equipped with the faster USB 3.0 ports; it also has HDMI ports, an audio jack, SD slot and a VGA adaptor for the legacy devices.

The Sony VAIO Pro 13 comes with a high definition front facing camera with Exmor R for PC. The Exmor R for PC is a CMOS image sensor which has been optimised for the device. It allows for noise-less video chats, giving the users better video chatting experience.
The device also comes equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Users can easily stream or share content with other NFC compatible devices including headphones and speakers.
