Sony continues to put out announcements and major product releases. The company seems intent on proving that they are also in the running to be one of the world's top tech manufacturers. With releases of several Xperia Z products, upcoming Honami, PlayStation4 and new televisions, it appears Sony has got a full plate already but that is not the case.

Sony not only released a Haswell-based Vaio ultrabook, the Japan-based tech giant wants to release a laptop-tablet combo. With the recent release of Dell's XPS 18 AIO, Sony is gearing up to release a laptop-tablet hybrid of the Vaio line.

This newfound interest on joining laptops, desktops and tablets hint a rising trend in the tech market. Another hybrid kind can take the market by storm or not. It is too early to tell but it is definitely worth noting. After all, companies like Sony and Dell have always been known for their affinity to invest on really exceptional or commendable tech wonders.

Sony has been one of the most innovative companies pioneering gadgets like the Walkman and the PlayStation. It is interesting to watch how the company will try to spawn another trend or craze in the industry. Likewise, there is also the looming question whether other tech giants like Apple and Samsung will follow the lead.

What previously appeared to be an organization struggling to keep out with leaders like Apple and Samsung, now return to their original post as a force to be reckoned with. In an attempt to create hype for the newest product, Sony has also released a teaser video for the next Vaio PC.

The official announcement will most likely be during the IFA 2013 in September. Nonetheless, people can check out the video to see what Sony has in store for their next release. The video reveals a pair of hands working with a piece of paper. The person folds and unfolds the paper to demonstrate how a laptop, tablet and potential hybrid works. The hybrid version exhibits a "Viewer" orientation. This orientation is achieved when the keyboard of the laptop gets folder underneath while facing down on the table.

The display then faces upwards much like how the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S works. Right towards the end, Sony projects a teaser line: "It all begins with one line."
